Fred Alwahan has been
creating contemporary sculptures for over 40 years using natural
materials including sandstone, marble, wood and bronze.
His career began in Lebanon having completed a Sculptors Apprenticeship
with Michael Basous in Rashana.
Between 1975 and 1990 Fred conducted over 13 conclusive exhibitions in
the Middle East and Africa and completed a 5 year project for the
Nigerian Government creating a 17 foot high soccer statue which is now
housed outside the Nigerian National Sport Stadium in Surulere, Lagos.
